F8 Control App for Android
F8 Control is an Android app designed to facilitate remote control of the ZOOM F8/F8n/F8n Pro devices. It allows users to utilize their Android devices as wireless remote controllers for these devices, offering functionalities like starting/stopping recording/playback, adjusting trim levels, mixer pan, and fader settings. The app also enables monitoring input levels, timecode information, remaining battery charge, editing file names, adding metadata, and transferring date and time information for recording purposes.
With F8 Control, users can easily create monitor mixes through a multi-touch supported mixer screen, control devices within protective cases, input metadata conveniently using the Android device keyboard, and synchronize date and time settings between the F8/F8n/F8n Pro and the Android device for accurate timekeeping.
